A: Login as Administrator and re-install..
Q: I get an Access Denied messages when running the dSoft installer under Mac OS 9. What do I do?
A: It sounds like you have the Multi-User access features of Mac OS 9 turned on and are trying to run the installer while logged in as a Limited or Panel user. If this is the case, re-login as a Normal user or as the Owner and re-install.
Q: If we need a feature that is not in your software can your product be customized to meet my needs?
A: Yes, we can make as many changes as you need. Whatever the change, we would be happy to discuss it with you.
Q: I downloaded and purchased one of your products, but I don't know the user id and password?
A: The initial login is "001" for the user id and "access" for the password.
Q: I can only open one window at a time in the trial version, is this the way full version works?
A: No, you can access many windows at once in our programs. This is a trial limitation. Once you register, you can have as many windows open as you want.
Q: What if I need more than two users?
A: You may purchase user licenses.
Q: Does your company require ongoing maintenance fees?
A: Many in our industry require a yearly license and maintenance fee of $1,000 or more per year. We do not!
Q: How much free support do we get after we purchase?
A: You get 60 days of internet and telephone support at no charge. You may purchase additional support for beyond the 60 days period at any time.
Q: How long do we get free upgrades?
A: You get free upgrades for 60 days after purchase.
Q: Do I need to purchase any other software to use the single user versions of your solutions?
A: No, the single user version comes complete with the database engine.
Q: How many users can I have access your network version at any one time?
A: You can have up to 250 users using TCP/IP.
Q: If we have Filemaker Server do we need to buy a new one for your network version software?
A: No, you can use your Filemaker Server as long as it is version 5.0 or newer.
